Bryan K, Zimbabwe’s new upcoming musical talent
24 October 2016 – WHILE veteran legends like Oliver Mtukudzi continue to hog the limelight, 65 albums down the line, and probably is still one of the musicians that most Zimbabweans in South Africa and the general Diaspora know, Zim continues to churn out new blood like Bryan K.
Bryan K whose real name is Bryan Kadengu is a highly experienced and talented musician and guitarist, whose endowed with the ability of casting a musical spell over the audiences with his strong vocals and guitar chops.
A winner of Zim talent show Star Brite Season One in 2012, his deep passion for music enables him to adapt and adjust his own style to suit different music genres.
Relatively new on the Zimbabwean music scene with only one album, to his name Bryan specialises in solo acoustic performances for corporate functions, parties, weddings, charity events, concerts etc.
The performer, who has a full band and dancers also does copyrights of popular songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and present day tunes. Proficient in the guitar, piano and percussion, Bryan K also composes and record commercials for radio and TV. – Patience Rusere
