November 9 2017 – THE case against controversial Limpopo pastor Letheba Moncha Rabalego, whose facing charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm after he sprayed his congregants with the insecticide Doom, has postponed in the Naboomspruit Magistrate’s Court on Thursday (today).
Rabalego commonly known as the “Doom Prophet” caused an outrage last year when photographs showing him spraying the insecticide on members of his church congregation went viral on social media.
Rabalego claimed the insecticide could heal any ailments.
The Limpopo health department then approached the high court to interdict Rabalego from using the insecticide on humans. The interdict was granted in March this year.
The court postponed the case to December 11 for trial. Rabalego is out on a warning. – ANA
