Eight injured in Randburg wall collapse

JOHANNESBURG – EIGHT  men were injured, six of them seriously, when a wall collapsed on them in Kowie Road, Boskruin, Randburg, on Saturday morning, paramedics said.

The cause of the accident was unclear, Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.

“Netcare 911 paramedics, its rescue unit and other services arrived at the scene and found the scene strewn with bricks and building material.”

Six of the men were seriously injured and another two had moderate injuries. They were treated on scene before being taken to various hospitals for further treatment. –  Sapa
