Gigaba back at Home Affairs
February 26 2018 – AFTER serving a brief stint as SA’s Finance Minister, Malusi Gigaba is back at Home Affairs following a cabinet reshuffle by new president Cyril Ramaphosa.
Whoever heads the ministry is always a concern for most Zimbabweans and migrants in SA, as it usually determines the tone and stance, that SA government will take on issues to do with migration.
Gigaba was replaced by Hlengiwe Mkhize last year but as Zimbabweans and the migrant community in SA were just beginning to warm up to her she was replace by Ayanda Dlodlo, who has been moved to the Public Service administration, while Mkhize is out of cabinet. – Patience Rusere
