THE Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, will this morning meet with the African Diaspora Forum in Pretoria, to discuss ways in which the Department can improve services offered to asylum seekers and migrants in general.
The African Diaspora Forum is an umbrella body comprising of various migrant communities living in South Africa whose objectives include restoration of peace through promoting integration and social cohesion.
“They will be making a submission to Minister Gigaba on proposals to address service delivery matters at some of the Refugee Reception Offices, including the Marabastad office,” says a Department of Home Affairs statement.
Gigaba, has been meeting various groups to get their views and proposals on international migration. – www.zimsinsa.com
