JOHANNESBURG – Motorists in Johannesburg  took to social media to express frustrations over road closures for the 94.7 Cycle Challenge, on Sunday.
Johannesburg metro police Inspector Edna Mamonyane said all roads had been reopened by late Sunday afternoon, with no major complaints or incidents reported.
“The last cyclists finished at around 5:25pm,” she said.
“It is a yearly event and people know about it so they work around the road closures.”
However, that did not stop those frustrated by the road closures expressing their irritation on social media platform Twitter.
