KAIZER chiefs Brilliant Khuzwayo has replaced club-mate Itumeleng Khune in the Bafana Bafana squad set to do battle in a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Angola.
Khune has been ruled out of action for the rest of 2015 after suffering a knee injury.
The 25-year-old Khuzwayo was in goal for Chiefs on Saturday in their Telkom Knockout semifinal against Orlando Pirates, which AmaKhosi clinched on a penalty shoot-out, the Durban-born shot stopper impressing with a solid all-round performance which saw him picking up the Man-of-the-Match award.
Khuzwayo is one of three keepers in Shakes Mashaba’s squad, the others being Jackson Mabokgwane of Black Aces and SuperSport’s Ronwen Williams. – ANA
