Lionel Messi in line for El Clasico return
BARCELONA star Lionel Messi could make his return at this weekend’s El Clasico.
Messi who has been injured since September returned to training on Monday according to his club which could see him feature against great rivals Real Madrid.
“The session included Leo Messi, who is recovering from the knee injury sustained on 26 September, and Ivan Rakitic who picked up a calf injury on 4 November read the official Barcelona club website.
The El Clasico is set for Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu. Barcelona currently are currently at the top of the La Liga standings and lead Real Madrid by three points after 11 games. – Soccer 24
