Feburary 10 2017 – SA’s Maritzburg United have signed young Zimbabwean winger James Nguluve after he impressed during lengthy trials at the club.
Nguluve, 20, was jovial when put through his paces during a rainy training session on Monday prior to the club’s media day, where new coach Roger De Sa and the club were preparing the league clash against Polokwane City on Wednesday, which finished 0-0.
Nguluve was assessed by the club before the festive season, and was invited back for a further look-in following the appointment of new coach De Sa.
Nguluve, who previously played for Ngezi Platinum in Zimbabweans says its his dream to play in SA’s PSL like the many Zimbabwean players plying their trade in Mzansi.
Club chairman Farook Kadodia says the deal has been finalised, with only a few details left to be ironed out.
“Deal done. Only a few matters to finalize before I make [a public]statement,” says Kadodia.
Nguluve will be the third Zimbabwean player in Roger De Sa’s squad after striker Evans Rusike and midfielder Blessing Moyo. – KickOff.com
