Seven injured in Gauteng collision
SEVEN people, including two children aged about seven and 14, were injured when a car and a bakkie collided on the R573 Moloto Road about 10km from the Gauteng/Mpumalanga border on Sunday afternoon, paramedics said.
“It is believed that one vehicle exited a petrol filling station and did not see the other vehicle when turning onto the road,” ER24 spokesman Pieter Rossouw said.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found that the injuries ranged from minor to moderate. One patient suffered a broken ankle. ER24 treated and transported the two injured children to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The remaining patients were treated and transported by other medical services on the scene, he said.
