ZAA nomination motivates Cape Town Zim businessman to do more

CAPE Town based Zimbabwean businessman and community leader, Julius Shamu has been nominated for the Personality of the year award at the upcoming ZimAchievers Awards to be held next month in Joburg.

“I am honoured and excited to be nominated for the second time. It just shows how much faith and appreciation the community has been of my works. It motivates me to continue doing more,” says an excited Shamu who was also nominated in the annual event’s Community Champion category of last year.

Shamu is involved in a number of projects and runs Shamstone group of companies which consists of Impress Clothing, Shamstone Production & Entertainment, ACT African Restaurant.

He also hosts Shamu’s Equal Access TV talk show, which is an online platform to celebrate and publicise individuals and companies that are pushing boundaries and chasing their dreams.

Shamu is also the current President of the Zimbabwe South Africa Chamber of Commerce & Industry which helps Zimbabwean businesses with information through accountable and diligent research.

“ZimSACC serve its members with opportunities to meet and do business, and resources that enhance their success through exercising best practices in their trades. The organisation also speaks for businesses with a collective voice on public policy issues affecting business and the communities and promotes investment trade between South Africa and Zimbabwe,” explains Shamu.
