Zim man disappears in North West
A ZIMBABWEAN man has disappeared and is presumed dead after being reported missing by his friends last Saturday.
Gibson Mkondo 44, who is now presumed dead, reportedly went fishing, with two friends at Klipvoor Borakalalo Game Reserve at around 11pm on Friday.
“It is alleged that the victim went on an illegal fishing mission with his two friends at,” said police spokesperson Paul Ramaloko
According to Ramaloko, Mkhondo and his friends to lay their fishing nets but he did come back leading to suspicions that he may have drowned.
“Police divers have been searching for him from Sunday with no success, and the search continues,” added Ramaloko.
He said Mkhondo’s two friends were earlier charged for trespassing but the case was withdrawn by the court. – ANA
