Zimbabweans in SA to celebrate ZimLife in Pretoria
2 December 2016 – ZIMBABWE Diaspora Connect will be holding a fun day for Zimbabweans tomorrow (Saturday) in Pretoria to support and celebrate all Zimbabweans outside Zimbabwe.
“The event is to create a free platform to market their products and services, celebrate everything good about Zimbabweans,” says Zimbabwe Diaspora Event organiser Joe Marikovoch.
The event, which will be held at Fountain Valley, is expected to be a one stop shop fun day for Zimbabweans in SA, featuring performances from musicians and DJ’s.
But it will not be all fun, as the event. Which will also be attended by locals, will have music promoters and producers, who will be on the look out for talent to support.
ZSP permit holders who need help in getting study permits for their children, will also get help from a team of people who will be in attendance.
“The team will be helping those in need and helping come up with a way forward on the challenges people will be facing on this. We can tackle these problems as a family, because if any child fails to go to school, we donot regard this as a Department of Home Affairs or Zimbabwe Consulate problem but our fault collectively,” says Marikovoch.
Those with any other queries concerning ZSP are also expected to get help, while those in business can also network and exchange business cards, while having fun.
